We are under no pressure to make investments and can be highly selective about the opportunities that we pursue. Also, unlike many investors, we are under no pressure to make realisations. We take a contrary view: once we have backed a great management team with a great business we hope to retain our stake for as long as possible. Indeed, we have been involved with three of our most successful companies for over 15 years.
